Conference "Crisis Management in the Perspective of Terrorist Threats" on the War Studies University

On 10 May 2017, the CIK representative participated in the 6th edition of the National Scientific Conference "Crisis Management in the National Security System", which main theme was "Crisis Management in the Perspective of Terrorist Threats". The organizer of the conference was the Faculty of National Security of the War Studies University with co-organizers – the Government Centre for Security, the Main School of Fire Service, the Police Academy in Szczytno and the Science and Research Centre for Fire Protection.

The conference was attended by representatives of public administration, uniformed formations, and civil and military academic centers.

The conference was divided into three thematic panels, which dealt with issues of terrorist threats in relation to the threat of weapons of mass destruction, building resilience to hazards, the practical aspects of military support in crisis situations and the introduction of alert levels.

The presentation "Study exercise in crisis management on the example of CIK CBK experience" was devoted to showing the method of "serious games" for crisis scenarios, on the example of selected R&D security projects: EDEN and DRIVER (FP7).

The Conference was opened by the Rector of Education and the Dean of the Faculty of National Security.
